Volunteer Opportunities at NTR
There are several ways you can volunteer at NTR. We even have a way by which your volunteer work -- if you do 120 hours of it -- nets you a free computer. Some of our volunteer opportunities also help you collect a whole new set of marketable skills!
If you're a student, you may wish to look into serving an externship here at NTR. If you have any sort of community service requirement to fulfill, we hope you'll consider serving those hours here.

Options
Do you have experience maintaining an inventory? You could serve in our warehouse, helping to keep the inventory organized and moving.
Do you have good people skills? Perhaps you'd like to share your growing knowledge of computers with the public in our Computer Thrift Store.
Do you have a hands-on attitude? You could dive into the nitty-gritty of refurbishing computers, giving old machines new lives.
Can you troubleshoot or fix a computer? You might decide to help out in our repair shop.
Do you enjoy the outdoors? Ask about our team that goes out distributing fliers and talking to people about our programs.
Have you ever imagined being a detective? We could use your help doing research to find funding sources. Find us a big enough donor, and we'll hand you a laptop!
Do you like talking on the phone without having to sell anything? We need people to find out how our graduates are doing in the working world.
Are you a seriously smart shopper? Join our price committee and help decide what our products are worth.
Maybe you're an "idea person". Help us design future programs: What's next, who'll benefit, who might support it, etc.
